The overwhelming majority of United States citizens, over 80%, agree that gay people should not be discriminated against in the workplace. It’s just plain wrong. Employees who feel that they have been discriminated against, whether they are women or black or handicapped or gay, have ways of documenting and reporting that discrimination.
Until today, gay Federal employees had a way to document discrimination. However, as of February 24th, 2004, documents that all employees use to research and report discrimination was pulled from the educational pamphlet and complaint form (click for story). This has sparked fears that gay and lesbian Federal employees must now be fearful for losing their job unjustly.
This is just plain damn wrong. The biggotry of this Administration is overwhelming.
