There’s a disturbing story out of Maryland this past Friday about how two members of “Homeland Security” started patrolling library patrons websurfing habits, trying to pull aside someone who they said was viewing objectionable material. This is just a little Orwellian, isn’t it?
I don’t care what the person was looking at (as long as it was within the guidelines of the library, which it was), but I do care when our government officials start monitoring and telling you what you can and cannot view. I cannot STAND the KKK, but I will defend their rights to them being able to have their own views. Same thing here.
